Strong Alliance for the Development of China’s Wet-laid
Spunlace Technology and Equipment
On April 2, Hi-Tech Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Wet -Laid Non-woven Equipment Co., Ltd. signed the “Project Cooperation Agreement on Wet-Laid Spunlace Non-woven” in Zhengzhou. This agreement marks that Hi-Tech Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. has become the first manufacturer in China to provide composite spunlace technology and equipment which combine carding with wet-laid, as well as solutions of the complete line process. It will help accelerate the wet-laid spunlace development in China, enhance the market expansion and international competitiveness of wet-laid spunlace equipment and technology. General Manager of Hi-Tech Heavy Industry Wang Guojun, General Manager of Hangzhou Wet-Laid Non-woven Equipment He Zhong, Deputy General Managers of Zhengzhou Textile Machinery Engineering & Technology Li Juanyong, Li Xinqi, Lyu Hongbin attended the signing ceremony.
At present, wet-laid spunlace technology and products have become the focus of the international non-woven industry. International non-woven equipment manufacturers are constantly striving in this field to upgrade their technology and equipment, expand the market scale. After more than ten years of exploration and development, China’s wet-laid spunlace technology and equipment are still fragmented without large-scale complete equipment and process suppliers. Hi-Tech Heavy Industry, with strong technical team, processing capabilities and rich equipment manufacturing experience, and Hangzhou Wet-Laid Non-woven Equipment, boasting wet-laid equipment, production technology, product development and patented technologies, will work together to jointly push forward the development of wet-laid equipment and technology to an international standard.
With the continuous expansion of the global nonwovens application field, the market calls for more diversified nonwoven products and wider applications. Additionally the increasingly stringent requirements for international environmental protection have also enhanced the market demand for green and bio-degradable nonwoven products. The raw materials (wood pulp, viscose staple fiber, etc.) used in the wet-laid spunlace process are cost-effective and degradable. And the product’s hygroscopicity, flexibility and environmental protection are superior to ordinary spunlace, making it an ideal choice for future green and hygienic materials. The process can also choose a variety of natural fibers to produce disposable nonwovens, or use multiple fibrous materials to produce nonwovens with special properties, which can cater for differentiated and environmental friendly non-woven.
The cooperation between Hi-Tech Heavy Industry and Hangzhou Wet-Laid Non-woven Equipment will open a new chapter in China’s wet-laid spunlace industry, promote the scale and standardization development of China’s wet-laid spunlace equipment, and become a new business card of Chinese manufacturing in the international market.
